TIM COTTON VISITS THE,

Utrecht, Netherlands

Here are some photos from Utrecht in the Netherlands. Each year, a show is organized at a cattle market site near Utrecht. It is a mixture of Heavy Transport, Cranes, Mack's (for which there is a large following in Holland) and 'Special Transport' (wreckers, unusual trucks etc)

It is an amazing show and is usually on the last weekend of Sept or 1st weekend of Oct.  There are a lot of old Mack's, FTF's (Dutch-built trucks) and Modern European HH stuff, much of which comes to the show loaded, as you can see.

Zwagerman, DDM Breuer etc are all well known Dutch fleets who operate immaculate fleets of HH trucks.

Tim Cotton

went up in a man-basket - Van der Tol cranes were giving rides up to give a different view of the show. The pull-out at 5pm on the Sunday is always spectacular with exhausts belching smoke and air horns aplenty.
