This is Dorin's second time at this show. The first time was to the premiere edition in 2003. He decided to re-attend after he read that for 2006 they picked Peterbilt of Ontario as a major sponsor. At the first show there were only 10 or 15 trucks on hand, for 2006 they grew substantially and they added sponsors like "Higwaystar Magazine" ,and even a live band," Hog Wild". The trucks in attendance were from..........

Provides transportation services to the steel industry, mainly in the Ontario, Michigan, and Ohio corridor.

The boys from Laidlaw are always shined up for a good show.

These are random truck photos from the show.

The rains may have dampened the grounds, but not the spirit of the crowds.

The rainy day, and the setting sun had no effect on the crowds enthusiasm for the trucks one bit.

A couple trucks from the 1950's always bring back memories to the older drivers.

The 1954 White Mustang was put on display by Hutton Transport of Uniondale, Ontario and dedicated in memory of Jack Karn.

(Below) --- The green stretched transport Pete, was all customized by "FULLY LOADED CUSTOMS INC." from Shelburne, Ontario, Canada. (Click on logo and go direct )

The top 2 photos of the same rig were taken at Gilli's Truck Stop in New Liskeard, Ontario, by Mark Manders on vacation from Holland.

All other photos on this page were taken by Dorin Cirlova at the St. Thomas, Ontario show.

Each row is of an individual truck.

(Owners are unknown to me.)

The red Pete above is from Samuel Steel of Mississauga, Ontario.

This Peterbilt tractor from Rosedale Transport has a unique (flat, non gloss) paint job. An eye catcher.

The racing was solely for the fun of it. The speed time didn't count.

(At least for the time Dorin was there.)

Peterbilt of Ontario displayed their entire product offering. I would gladly recommend this show as I'm sure it will grow in size and excitement.

Tri-Corp, Aylmer, Ontario is

a family owned company with terminals in Ontario, Canada & Texas, USA.

Eye Candy

A great looking Western Star equipped with a headache rack, and numerous accessories would be a pleasure to work with.

That pretty well covers this day at the Truck Show. The interest was enough to plan ahead for another visit next year.

Dorin Cirlova, ............

Thank you for giving me this opportunity to display my photos of the day, and of course I'll attend other shows in the future. Also my collection includes over 2,000 pictures taken in the past 14 years at shows across North America, and on the road.
