I enjoyed seeing those old pix of John Denison again. Did you mention he was awarded the Order Of Canada, for his pioneering work on Ice Roads?
I would also like to point out Nuna Logistics' willful neglect, of any mention of Dick Robinson and Robinson's trucking of Yellowknife. Without Robinson and his company, ice roads between Great Bear, Echo Bay and Lupin Mine would have ceased to exist when JD retired in the early 1970's. Nuna and Echo Bay didn't start their ice road endeavours until the early '80s.

I can't imagine driving a 1950 cab-over frieghtliner like the one pictured on your site(#31) I must be spoiled with the trucks of today.
